In anticipation for precipitation all I hear is raindrops, falling on rooftops- another rainy night in New York City. I can't stand the rain 'gainst my window. This rain is what the thunder brings. It even feels like the raindrops play for me. At the end of the rainbow, I find that there ain't no sunshine when she's gone. I'm out of my mind, but let it rain over me. Gotta blame it on something- blame it on the rain. I'll even wait for all of the dark clouds bursting in a perfect sky for that cold November rain. I can show you that when it rains, everything's the same. I only wanted to see you laughing in the purple rain. Rainy days and Mondays always get me down. Can you stand the rain?
